Norden Woodwork

Norden Woodwork, a company with a 50 year history building custom kitchens and cabinets for Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois came to us to develop a new brand identity and web presence. The wonderful and challenging aspect of the project is that in their 50 years of business, they've never explored marketing their business. Their word of mouth has been just that good. Enter Integrated New Media.

Our first objective with the company was to analyze their target market. Who is the researcher that is looking for custom kitchens?. During our intitial customer assesment, we discovered that over 70% of the decision makers were women, 32% were stay at home mothers, and 65% had already purchased magazines showcasing kitchen designs and decorating. This set the tone for our new branding initiative, as well as the overall look and feel for the site itself. We were fortunate in that we had the opportunity to build the project from the ground up, because it allowed us the ability to directly distill a solution from our research rather than make compromises with existing marketing materials.

Our final branding and site are a direct reflection of what our research told us. The color palette; soothing, spa-like greens and browns, evoking the concept of "green design", natural materials, and comfort. The logo; a simple serif design that introduces a single leaf to represent woodworking. The site design; laid out like a series of magazine articles to reinforce consistency with the magazines the clients are already using for research.

So if you're in the market for a new kitchen, head to www.nordenwoodwork.com and learn about what they can do for you. Believe us, you won't be disappointed.
